I looked through all the threads and couldn’t find this topic but know there was one!!! It's in regards to the front end and the intake. The front side of the filter intake tubing runs through the core support. If I take off the grill assembly where do you drill the holes in that plastic piece that’s acting as a wall and doesn’t allow the air to pass through? I was just going to drill 3-3" holes vertically up but though id ask just in case someone else did this and it was a mistake!!! Oh by the way this is the V10....

Thanks for all the help,
Charles

I did that to my '02 Ex 7.3L but not sure of the benefits... some says it's great (and it IS logical), but even witht he turbo I could not from the seat of the pants tell a difference...

I drilled to the drivers side of the radiator just in front of the air pickup...

I see limited benefit for a v-10 since your's doesn't have a turbo to feed the air in...

BUT - I would recomend a FIPK from K&N - I KNOW it added 25HP t my 5.9L Jeep,,, like a new engine...
