ONe thing I'm disappointed in is that the Excusion doesn't come with a sub woofer. My Expy sounds really good for stock and that's one thing I hate to give up.
Has anyone done anything to improve the sound system? Specificly the one with 6 disc in dash etc. I'm not looking to fill it with boom boom , just install a sub somewhere hidden to get fuller sound.

JL Audio makes a Stealth Sub that fits in the center console. JL also makes a nice 300Wx1 amp that matches up real nice. Thats what I`ve got, but don`t ask me what it sounds like. I havn`t had time to set it up.

I installed my subs in the back doors. I went with 12 " and they sound great. I sealed the door wiith foam. You can either fit them flush, if you use a small sub, or build them out. I lost 5 inches in bed length, when the doors are closed, but what a sound. |
