Have a '03 7.3 PSD X with 12K, thinking of getting the Superschip or Hypertech programmer. Tow a 22' CC bay boat occasionally. Any recommendations are appreciated. |

I've been very please with Superchips on my gasser. Also heard a lot of good things on the Tuner for the PSD. Try Mike at Troyer Performance. Lot's a good stuff and a very good guy.

I sold my 1705 microtuner for the 7.3L when we got the 6.0L...
I loved it, the new owner loves it...
Would say right behind the hellwig rear sway bar as the best mod to the 7.3L Ex...
BUT, Superchips did give a seller grief and had his ad pulled when he tried to sell his used unit on eBay - said something like patent infringement or something?!?!? Stupid on their part !!
What if Ford said we couldn't sell or trucks on eBay ?!?!

Our 2002 7.3 Excursion is still well within warranty which we like to preserve so the Superchips MicroTuner was our only choice. When we're not towing we run the 80hp otherwise the 60hp tows safely.
The 1700 SCMT combined with all the other performance mods yields excellent power and MPG's
