I replaced my front springs with 2003 f-250 "V" code springs. After crawling around on the ground I found these numbers as;
2C34 ADB
R 225 2
on edit thats what he told me(2003)? They did lift my X almost 2 full inches

The code's are on the bottom of the spring under the door on either side. I agree we need to compile this into a graph something like bruce did with the springs lift over stock.

For what it is worth, at the end of each spring where the end is rounded for the shackle bolt, there is a paint dot with an embossed letter. It is visible for the installers on the assembly line as the springs are stacked in crates. That is where the v,x,u etc. codes are designated and originate. Makes things a little easier for guys installing one a minute like I once did 23 years ago on other ford trucks.--the codes where different then of course-- |
