well i made my own. some 2x3 steel tubing 2x3 angle iron and a adjustable hitch and its done. see it here

I bolted 2 pieces of angle iron snadwitching the 2x3 tubing. 1 large bolt as a pivot point and a pull pin to lock it upright. two portch swing springs stop it from falling all the way down and help putting it back up. and two braces to hold it from moving in the hitch, I is holding a 37x12.5x16 parnellie jones dirt grip.

Nice job! Gives me some ideas ... like making one that leaves the hitch receiver accessible for towing my car trailer. I think I would make the spare attach to a plate using 3 or 4 wheel-lugs.

Please excuse me for being critical, and it's probably a moot thing to many, but when you mount a flat tire on your carrier, the rim will be hard against the vertical bar. I don't want to scrape my rims. OK ... call me vain because the scars would be on the inside.

All in all, you did good!

Looks good and functional, but the cops in my town want to see the rear license plate. Can't see it in the picture or do you plan to move it?

Just noticed the Coastie bumper sticker. I live so close to the Yorktown, VA CG station, I can hear them play taps every evening .... let alone their firing range. I've been building ships for 25 years now. You may have heard of a few of them ... Vinson, Lincoln, Washington, Stinson, Reagan, plus a whole slew of subs ... and George H.W. Bush is coming to our yard this Saturday for laying the keel of CVN 77 named in his honor.
