I put one one (FIPK) my V10 and could NOT tell a diff in milage. Maybe a little more power. If I was to do it again I would NOT have spent $250 in it. I thought I was getting more than an air filter and a bent metal plate. I would have just bought the filter and cut up the cover. |

Not to drag this back up but I was looking at putting the K&N 57-2530 kit on my 7.3L 2002. Is everyone satisfied with the kit? Or is there a better air intake filter kit out there?

What is the benefit OVER the ZooDad mod plus a KN cone filter in the stock box? I can hear the difference with the ZD and KN Cone in my 2003 V-10 Excursion so I believe some restriction is reduced?
Is there an incremental improvement to justify the incremental cost? |
