I'm trading my F-350 7.3L 4x4 (03) for a new '04 X Limited 4x4 . Can't wait to pick it up this Friday. I also am getting the Dealer to intall 285's vs the stock 265's.
QUESTION:
I would like to PROGRAM / CHIP my new 6.0L. Any suggestions or comments on whats comming out soon or whats already out there. I loved the programmer performance on my 7.3 and would like to duplicate the same on my new truck.

I have a SUPERCHIPS S-1705 programmer for sale. Any buyers. Deprogrammed my truck last night. Boy can I tell the difference when I took the kids to school this morning!!  |

i would waite on the chip. there are trans issues that can not be resolved. there is no shift kit, right now no answer but we are working on it. dont do something to jeoperdize your warrant. Ford keeps coming up with reflash fixes and they will catch you.

Will take the conservative approach and wait for a proven solution. These forums are great! I wouldn't have known this w/o feedback from other RESPONSIBLE" owners.
If I relied on the sales pitch from the different companies, I could be in trouble. They just want to sell their wares.
