Hello
I am a new user from Norway.I hope you´ll understand my english. Have x 2002 modell and have some problems. Check engine light came on and in the service they found a code Po221. What does that mean??? They could´nt say anything more, I have to contact service in bigger city. Excursions are not so very common here...
Could this code be connected to this major problem that I have. Sometimes I loose acceleration and ability to increase engine RPM past iddle when depressing the acceleration pedal. This hapens often when car has been parked a while. This is very disturbing. I am very gratefull for any help!!! |

it sounds like you might have a bad gas pedal. there are a lot of electronics stored in the pedal. you will need to take it to someone that can diagnose electronics on Fords.
Code P0220 = Throttle switch B curcuit malfunction
Code P0221 = Throttle switch B circuit performance.
