Ebay. New and used.....mostly new. Keep an eye on Ebay. Sometimes they don`t show up for weeks and then there is a flood of them. Birdman 127 got his off of there.

Are you talking about the actual DVD player, monitor, or the whole oem setup? |

Donald,
I've seen them go for as little as $ 800.00 on Ebay but do yourself a favor and visit a local custom shop. You'll get more bang for your buck and if done correctly, it looks much better than the Ford setup. I have some pix in my registry so you can get an idea. If you can give me more detail as far as what you expect from your system I can give you a little more detailed info.

Donald,
While you're looking, I would stay away from anything less than a 10.4" screen unless you plan on doing multiple screens.
I remember someone on this list can get them for cost?

Thanks for the input. I have two little one's I am trying to keep happy on trips. Lugging the 13 inch tv in and out of the truck is is pain. If I go after market do I need to move the rear a/c controls or incorporate a new console? |

We didn't lose our rear controls, however, we did lose our middle center vent which is really of no consequence. I have heard where others have relocated that vent. There are different ways of doing it. You just need to take a good look and somehow visualize the way you would like to have it setup.

We set up our system for mostly around town with some mid to long range trips. Two boys 6 and 9 and intermittent company. System consists of the following; DVD/Nav Sys in the dash; another DVD touch screen that can distribute sources to all zones, source 1 is in dash DVD, source 2 comes from a TV Tuner on board; source 3 comes from a PS2 under the second seat. A flip out monitor in the dash, two 9" widescreen drop down monitors, and a 7" widescreen sun visor monitor so my wife can keep a check on what everyones watching. . Wireless Playststion2 controls and wireless headsets so we don't have to listen to them. Moved my center vent back, controls are in original location and accessible whether the drop downs are in up or down position. You can still use the rear view mirror too.
Sorry for rambling.....
