I know these are searchable issues, but the search function is presently down........

2 questions:

(a) What year did Ford start installing "acceptably-deep" front cup holders in the floor console? I have a 2000 Limited with grey interior and both 2000 and 2001 are listed as "graphite;" however, 2002 and 2003 are listed as "Flint" I just want to make sure that the deeper style holders will not only work, but will match the interior

(b) What is the length of the upgraded wiper blades for these trucks? I was about to replace mine, and I couldn't remember the longer versions that would work.

As always, thanks for the advice. (P.S., reluctantly, I threw in the extra $ for an "Edge" 3'' front/1" rear lift system for my truck.....once it gets here and is installed, I'll let you know if it's all it's hyped to be!)

I had a question about the center console too. I have the new piece, but wondered if anyone remembered how painful a swap it is if you have the CD changer. It looks like the changer has to come out of the console entirely. Is this so, or is there a shortcut?

I'm currently running 24" wiper blades for summer mode. In a few months the snow will be flying off Lake Erie. Has anyone run 24" winter wiper blades? I'm wondering if the snow and ice could cause any problems with the longer blades? My "X" sits outside 24/7.
