Congrats Dennis,
Just do a search for Ford extended warranty on www.google.com or some other search engine and it will lead you to MANy possibilities...
I would suggest you ensure it is a FORD factory warranty since some aftermarkets have been known to not be arround when you need them !

I did get mine from my dealer when I bought my truck, but had done my research adn brought in the quotes I had ... He didn't match them, but came close enough for me...

Dennis,
I've checked many places but only for a "Ford" warranty. I don't know what one you're after, but believe it or not the best price I received was from my dealer. Ford Premium Care Warranty bumper to bumper, 7 years (from original in service date) or 100,000 miles, $ 1500.00. I'm sure there's probably some difference in price between a V10 and diesel though. There was also some small, per occurance deductable, $ 100.00 I think. At any rate I haven't purchased it yet because they told me I could add it anytime, as long as it is still under the original warranty.

Kind of ironic that I just finished doing all the research and getting a warranty. Prices range from approx. $1200 to $2300. I looked at 8 or so places and REALLY RESEARCHED THEM. I looked for bumper to bumper with an exclusion list, wear and tear, stand alone seal and gasket replacement and overheating protection. The big thing you need to look at is who the administrator is. The administrator is who authorizes and pays for the repairs. There are som fly by night administrators that will take the money and run, go out of business, or skip around. You also need to look at who ensures the administrator and the rating. Check the BBB with all of them! The industry has a lot of fraud. So, you have to be carefull. I ended up with an administrato called "American Guardian ....", I went through a broker and picked up 6 year/ 100,000 with a $0 deductable for $1500.00. It was a researched decision. We'll see what happens.... If you want any info, I have a ton. Tom Boucher
