Was looking upgrade my Parnelli Jones 36x14.50x16.5 to the 38x15.50x16.5 but knew I needed to lift it some more. So I went down to a local shop (Valley Spring) to see what all needed to be done and he was saying to go from I guess all I have is a 6" lift 5" block in rear ontop of factory block and added leafspring, to an 8" lift only 2 more inches that it would cost $2500.00 does this sound right???? I asked what parts would come off and he said nothing really! I would need a new front drive line, new steering setup to keep everything at 45 degrees, new leaf spring mounts and springs, some seal is bad in the rear end due to the severe axle wrap, the transmission would need to be dropped ( I guess I have axle wrap and vibrates real bad at 65mph up, due to generic lift basically is what he said never seen the components before) and a few other thing!!!!

Am going to go with a friend who is friends with the guy at Superduty Headquarters and see what he has to say!!!

Buy the way at Valley Spring they have this X that has a 30" Lift and ontop of that it also has air bags!!!! Was real sick looking I got to see myself in the bumper without bending over and I'm 6FT !!!!!
