Everytime Im done driving and i get out and close the door i seem to get a little static shock, is this a sign of anything electrical or something? |

Typically, there is a flexible metal ground strap that grounds the body to the frame. That helps eliminate the static electricity. However, if you have cloth seats I would recommend a humidifier for a short while. |

Get leather seats  My wife's cloth seats do it every time. When she trades up on her truck she wants the leather

There is also a flexible rubberized grounding strip that can be run from the frame to the ground. I think typical auto parts stores carry these. Be very careful when filling your gas tank. There are reports of poeple (mostly women) who begin filling their gas tank, get back in the car/truck, and then get out to finish filling their tank. The first think they touch is the handle and an explosion occurs. I believe the report stated that this has happened over 100 times. Inform the wives. |
