I am posting this info as a tech class because you people need to have all the info you can get your hands on.

I do a lot of diesel transmission high performance work and drive many rigs that are chipped with every make made. You all know i like Suncoast ( because they dont break). Suncoast builds a low stall converter. That means you lose some low end torque to get better midrange and top end. This converter is not good without a chip (you really need a chip anyways). I have done a study on the trucks in my shop and some over the internet, and have come to the conclusion that most chips out there are lacking. They wont pull the big converter. It only takes a real 50 horsepower chip to make your towing life wonderfull. Why cant an 80 or 100 chip from most companys do this?
I am not here to sell you my chip(but i really want to). I am trying to sell torque converters and am having a hard time getting the fit right. There are chips out there that claim 80 horsepower and i install a converter to handle it and find that it wont pull a sick ant off a pee pot. Hmmmm.
something wrong?
I just wanted to share my experience with you guys and make you think.

regards, mike

Ha-ha-ha-ha. Man, that's the funniest thing I've read in a long time. I have no clue what you said about TCs, but I've got a new saying now!
