I am almost at the 100,000 mile service on my 2000 PSD X Limited. I want to replace the fuel infectors and the glow plug. Any suggestions on the best replacements. |

Tim- When you see how much the injectors and glow plugs cost ( have the EMTs ready!!) BELIEVE ME- you'll NEVER replace them!!!!
If the Exc runs and starts well and the MPG is staying stable, keep the money in "yer pocket!!
That's one of the best reasons to ALWAYs calculate MPG- you'll know right away if something is going bad.

Heya Godfather, I am a WPB transplant now in Atlanta, I still keep in close touch with Modifications Unlimited and my network of Ford buddies down there.
To Tim
The lifespan of your PSD injectors are directly related to quality of fuel and oil. So change your oil, stay away from those "diesel" oil additives and just stick with a good 15w40 dino or syn and change the oil regularly. I do run a Redline Diesel Catalyst from time to time and it seems to help with response and fuel consumption.
