Anyone have trouble with the power rear quarter windows on the Excursion? The passenger side works but the drivers side does not. I checked the fuses and all seem to be o.k. Any suggestions? Coach |

I've never had a problem *knock**knock*
SOme have reported the motors crapping out but usually in pairs. Best thing to do would be to make sure that the motor is getting power. Maybe you could listen while someone hits the switch. You might hear motor noise indicating that it's getting power but it may not be powerful enought to open the window. The seal could be dirty and make the seal "too good". You could manually push it open and try to electrically close it too.

Yup, you betcha. First warranty issue I had a month or so after purchase last August (02'). Problem was intermitant, dealer verified and fixed no problem. Paperwork indicates high internal cost so I suspect if it's not under warranty that it's several hundred dollars.

That sucks!!$$$I hear it getting power as Monsta suggested. It just will not open it, even when I push on it! I only have 30k miles on her but have past the 3 year interval. Thanks for the input though....Coach |

My vent windows went out. but if you twisted the actuator while someone was holdig the switch open the motor would kick in. The dealer replaced them and all is better for now. I'll have to dig up receipts to see what the cost was.
