Joe,

Yes, I buy direct from them as well as a few other vendors that have certain brands so if you find something you really like give me a call 623-229-4208 and I'll see what I can get it for! Just bought 2-15.5" widescreens and cost on them were $650ea not bad considering they were going for $1050ea at a local shop here!!! And I also agree that the flush mounts are the way to go! Looks much cleaner and alot less bulky!!!

Try this site, enter your information and it will bring up a lot of stuff, lots of choices, preference and dollar amount seem like the only limiting factor

Joe,
Rather than sinking the money into plastic "Pod" housings you may want to investigate one or two flush mount ceiling monitors. They will be almost invisible from the outside when in the stowed position, and are easy to see from the third row if you have any passengers there (allowing you to start with only one). Also you may want wireless headphones so you don't have to listen to what's playing. You mentioned TV in your previous post, I'm not sure what your family situation is but you may want to consider a Sony PS2 as well, this serves as a game and a DVD player for movies.
If you can be more specific in what your expectations are I will be able to give you some better suggestions. At any rate you should build your system so it is expandable for future wants/needs.
Hope this helps,

Mike

I'm still looking for the floor console

Joe, this isn't the site I was looking for but the piece is made by clarion. At least this will give you an idea. http://www.carreview.com/Mobile,Video/Clarion%20,AVC-F2/PRD_173290_1813crx.aspx

Otto,
Thanks for the nice comment... No problem viewing, the monitor tilts forward enough so that I can see it if I have the front seat reclined. Also the off axis viewing of these monitors is very good. Let me know if you need any info.

Mike.Jody

I like your setup. Did you do the work yourself? How difficult was it to mount the monitor? Do you have any suggestions for a newbie with a few mechanical skills? Is this something that a novice could do or do I need to find someone? What size are your monitors? Any Information would be appreciated.

Doing this same dance too !!!

Looked at built ins - too small and too costly for the most part... like the factory unit ...

Looked at laptops with dvd and still considering that - can also put my nav software on it....

Saw a Audivox D1210 at Best buy today (see at www.bestbuy.com) for $750 and change....
12" LCD display with 4x3 aspect ratio that was AWESOME - DVD and TV tuner built in, AC/DC powered, twin detachable stereo speakers, two wireless headphones, remote, harness for mounting in car !!!

Really has potential....
