Does anyone have any problems with their front overhead dome/map lights. Mine keep blowing and fusing the plastic and bulbs together. I put new bulbs in, scrape down the plastic and check the wires but it gets real hot.

Are you certain, absolutely positive, without a shadow of a doubt, that the correct bulb was in there? I believe a bulb specification list is included in the owner's manual. Too "hot" of a bulb may be your problem ... but I'm mostly taking a SWAG here. |

Yup. I am pretty sure they are the right bulbs. I went in the manual and told the guy what I wanted. However, the obvious is always worth a try. (they say 12 out of every 10 men are dyslexic)

Don't sweat it.
I don't know anything and I can prove it. (lol)
Good luck with those bulbs! |
