my apologies from us 'sutherners' !!!
I've laid an "egg"' many times when trying to make a joke as well...
and typically it's when the whole crowd has gone quiet and EVERYONE hears my oops  !
Whenever someone makes a generalization,
there are instances ALWAYS where they are wrong...
and sometimes they are completely wrong in ALL cases if their info is wrong...
I've always said... understand the source of the comment...
If it's someone you know or have perceived as well meaning and something is said that COULD offend, then take that with a grain of salt and understand that it may have not been meant that way, but just a strong statement of their support for something else rather than a slanderous statement..
Another thing I've found with email and site posts is that the way I interpret something is more a reflection of the way I feel at the time I'm reading it rather than the way it was written 
Hang in there, your opinion is important here...

I am sorry you took my statement to mean all Canadians. I don't know you as you have never contributed to this forum, you only bitched when you felt it hurt your feelings. You would be better served looking in your own back yard and complain about those people as i would have in your position. You say you have turned 180 deg from me(and this is about me and no one else, isn't it) Fine. i will not try to defend myself, i dont take back what i said about that person. The problem with you (prove me wrong) you will reap the benefits and knowledge of all these good people which are enthusiasts by the way(thats why they know more than their mechanics) while you lurk and learn and contribute nothing. You sir make your feelings known only when you feel like it pissed you off. Step up to the plate like all of us and teach, learn, and enjoy the experience. Share something with us besides your hangups. Get a life,dude. It's not too late

You might be right as far as him contributing, although i sure cant find it or remember it. I am sorry if i offended him, my remarks were not meant to offend Canadians. I spend time on the boards to help people, i enjoy giving something back and i love when all of us can nail a dealer or repair shop (that is underhanded) to the cross. I dont have time for whiners or trolls. You may not like me, but it doesnt matter, i will help anybody that needs it. This is how i run my business and who i am.

Guys, let's move on and bury this thread. The only troll here is "Peter Puck", who by the way managed to get a three page thread going with only one post. Look close and you'll notice that he has not bothered to reply or post anywhere else. He wanted to get us riled up, and it apparently worked. Our best response would have been no response at all.
On a positive note, I appreciate the complete lack of profanity in this thread. If you look at the SUV hate site it is profanity laced. This demonstrates a lack of intelligence on Mr. Puck's part. If you can't get your message across without cussing you don't have much going on upstairs.
Now, take a few deep breaths and lets be friends. There is enough Excursion anger in the world. Lets keep it out of here.

One more note on this.....I posted a few comments of my own (Without cussing of course!) on the SUV hate site and they deleted them right away. What is up with that? If you can't take the heat stay out of the kitchen. The website is pretty pathetic I must add. At the time he had a big following of (3) people and I almost think there is really only Peter Puck posting there. And if I remember right they had advertised links to trucks and SUV's for sale. ????? How can you do all of this Anti-SUV stuff and sell out advertising for trucks and SUV's for sale on the same site? His comments on his website instantly made me feel better about being me.
