I think I posted this message originally the wrong thread, so here it goes again....

Ater many months of lurking I finally got my Excursion. Many thanks to you all for the great advice posted here.

I got a 2003 Limited 4x4 V10 with 22k miles. Paid $29,600...I think it's a good deal but want to hear otherwise.

I wasn't sure if there was a tranny cooler but another poster informed there was. Not sure what to think about the Steeltex tires; guess I'll deal with that later.

Anyhow, this is a great site and I appreciate all the expert advice....I'm so mechanically challeged that I'll need all the help I can get!

Welcome
The V10 comes with the biggest trans cooler in the industry, bigger than the PSD (go figure). So forget about that problem.
