I have a 2000 X with a V10 and 4.30's. I am planning on lifting it, probably 6" suspension. Could I go up to 37" tires with stock running gear, or would I have to upgrade. The motor is stock for now. I would hope it could turn them, with the 4.30 gears. Or am I better off sticking with 35's. Also, would 35's look too small with a 6" lift, or would a 4" look more proportionate? I figure, for the same price, may as well take the 6".

Option number 2, will 33's fit under a stock suspension. Or will they not have enough clearance to do anything other than paved roads.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Nathan

The 4.30's would be fine with the 37's. The hard part is fitting the 37's on an excursion with only a 6" lift without rubbing issues!
