I need to know the wiring color codes for the speed sensor wire for our navigation unit to hook to. Also, what are the colors for the parking brake and foot brake, I am installing a video bypass and need this information.

Check out this website www.the12volt.com and you can find the wiring color codes for just about any vehicle.

The wires attached to the brake pedal position switch are as follows.

Switch to ground = PK/OG

Switch to Central junction box = LB/BK

Switch to antilock brake system module = RD/LG

Brake pressure switch to Central Junction box = LG/RD

The parking brake switch input is on pin 7 and = LG/RD on the Generic electronic module. GEM.

The Brake pedal position switch input to the GEM is on pin 12

This info is for 2000 excursion and hope it helps.

I need to know a bit more about what you want for speed sensing wire... do you mean tachometer?
