Has anyone had any experience with the Engine oil drain valve from YM International ? Their site is www.fumotovalve.com.

I think MONSTA had one on his excursion. Perhaps he'll be along.

I know a lot of people use them and say they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. Especially for getting samples for oil analysis. Also doing drains directly into containers vs. dumping into one big pan.

I use the Fumotot valve. It does slow the draining rate down, but I do like not having to open my toolbox. It probably takes about 5-10 minutes to drain nearly 6 qts. from the 6.8L. I usually open the valve to start draining first, then come back after I gather my oil and filter. The worst part is changing the filter. What a mess!

I have the Fram Sure-Drain. I am pretty happy with it. Similar concept but, the Fram has a cover to prevent accidental drainage and a discharge hose. It cost about $14 at the local Murry's. The trick to the oil filter is to punch a hole in it before removing it. I cannot take credit for this one, as I read about it on one of the forums.

I got the FlO on mine. I went with that model because I`ve read that the Frams have a problem getting clogged.
