I got an answer from Hellwig on the thump problem that everyone is talking about. I guess Mr Hellwig has a Excursion. Here is the answer.
Thank you for your inquiry.
Here are a couple of thing that worked on Mr. Hellwig's Excursion.
1. Double check and make sure all the bolts on the End-Links are tight,
this includes the bolts that hold the End-Links
to the bar.
2. Check the End-Link holes in the clevis bracket to see if they've been
wallowed out.
Check these two things and if you still have the problem, get back with
me.

That's pretty cool...Mr. Hellwig's got an Excursion! Wonder if he ever come here...

I did what they suggested this afternoon and the thud went away....It worked.
