Hello, i have a 2000 Excursion 4x4 limited. I am having a nightmare with the tranny, torque converter and now transfer case.
At around 60k the tranny blew, and the torque converter.
Ford after a battle and a leagal letter replaced them both with refurbished.
Now when i drive above 60 a roar and rumble is heard and felt. Also when i let off the gas and coast a fluttering rumble under the floorboard is heard. It only happens when you coast down a hill, or let of the gas. Also the shifting is hard and slams into gear when shifting somtimes.

I keep taking it back to the dealer and they say everything is ok, then they said it was in the driveline. So i went to a Coast driveline and had new driveshafts made.
The problem did not change. I have a lift on my truck and have had it sence i bought it.

Do any of you have a answer to my hell. My "Re-furbished tranny and torqe" warranty will expire in a month, I called Ford and they said to take it back to the dealership that put it in. I did and they free of charge replaced something in the transfer case. Now there is red fluid blowing all over leaking from the reak yoke of the transfer case. I am scared that i am going to get screwed by ford again. I have 75k on my Ex and my exstended warranty just ran out.

Help!
