Figured out that our Ex has 3.08 gears!!! Is that right??? Could it be??? |

NO You do have a couple of options though.....5.4--4.10....6.8--3.73...or...4.30...7.3 or 6.0 diesel--only 3.73
now if you have oversized tires then you have reduced the gear ratio to a smaller gear. hope this helps.

So does this mean with a V-10, the only possibilities could be 3.73 or 4.30???? If so I feel better... |

How exactly did you come up with that?

I figured out where I screwed up, I used the RPM's in overdrive instead of the RPM's in Drive, the formula requires the RPM's from the 1:1 gear. The formula I used was in 4x4 Garage magazine...it is...(RPM x tire diameter) divided by (MPH x 336) |
