Why not.
I want to go to 285/75R16s but cant find any that will fit on the 7in stock rims.
Going to 17s would solve this problem.
Or can you get away with it on 7in rims?
Update: I have been told by others on the forum that the 285/65R16 will work fine so I'll stay with my 16s

You'll s e an beautiful black executive limo Excursion with what I think are 18's. LOVELY! If I could spend 31K right now I'd buy that truck in a second!
There is also a red 4x4 with 275's and aftermarket 16's (I think). I may actually bid on that truck because I like the Street Scenes grill. 
I've seen 17's on an Excursion with 285's. Looked very nice.
