What kind of terrain are you planning on taking on?
The travel is severely limited on the Ex. Worse when loaded.
Wear your kidney belt if you plan of doing anything fairly extreme.

If iN Sand without rocks...
Bring a cigarette lighter powered air pump (or two !)
air down while on the sand for better 'floatation'...
then air it back up for the trip home...
In my Jeeps and on bikes, I have been known to go as low as 4 or 5 psi...
but you must realize that low can 'spin' the tire on the rim or loose a bead with side loading ---
NOT a good thing - instant flat
