Good Morning Everyone!
Just a few news worthy notes to bring up before I as a few questions.
I don't think anyone would remember, but I work/worked for FORD (Kentucky Truck Plant) here in
Louisville, KY Home of X and the Super Duty.....

1. Rumor has it that production of X will con't at least 18 more months. (Proof is that that line is still running and no shifting of labor to other dept's is good sign that this is true)

2. Company does not want to lose market share for that sector. Always thought that they did not give the X time to gain a following

3. The order bank is High for new orders of X's (relative to the past) just returned from FL
last week, say more X's than ever before.

4. The new 6.0 is the real deal! Navistar reps last week said that bugs were finally worked out!
Watched the results for myself, new turbo is the shiznit!!!!!!!!! (Speaking in the vernacular)

5. Should be around (school still kicking my**) for questions to be directed at company reps (Frat brother is a big wig plus a family member who has been there for a LONG time) at the plant level! Just ask!

6. Just replaced starter in my 2001 (55k) I was pissed!!! Did the new battery thing blh, blah, blah
Still had issues only took me three times to get it right. A) Solenoid (sp/) B) New armature (sp) C) New gear reduction set (hey three's a charm). Guys from Navistar gave-up the D/L on the starter deal from the original Launch of the X. let's just say there were issues...........

OK!
Here is deal! (Navistar guys are gone for Holiday, I think)

My buddy's 2001 PSD is "missing" He has drained the bowel several times, to no avail.
Everything he is saying sounds fuel/injector oriented. He does have a first generation Superchip installed, just curious how the injectors would react if that is the problem.......

Dealer placed it on the tester and no problems came-up. I really don't place a lot of trust in that, but that ruled/out the most obvious.
So, if anyone has some other things to try let me know thanks.........

GodFather,
Going on his descriptions alone He gave me more details yesterday.
He said it occurs more on curves. Guys from Navistar told me
About O ring issues sucking in air at or near fuel pump. I told him to go take a look!
