Wandering is gone for good. No way I can total my X. It handles way too good thanks to your radius rods. On the other hand I should probably stay away from the supercharger I've been looking at. That might push the vehicle and my skills past the envelope.

Landyot makes a very good point here. Be advised that I can drive my truck quickly thanks to a combination of Landyot's radius rods, front and rear sway bars, six Bilstein 5100 shocks and 12.5 inch tires on 9.75 inch wide rims pumped up to maximum inflation rates that let my truck go faster than the average bear. I would not think of running the speeds that I do without these accesories.

Also - I have been driving this truck for over four years and big SUV's for 20 years. They take time and patience to grow accustomed to. While I push the envelope somewhat, I would caution any X driver to learn the limits and constraints of driving a 7,500# plus truck. There is little room for error especially in the braking department and I don't want anyone to think otherwise. I am an idiot some times and will admit so without urging.

My other cars over the years have included several BMW M5's that would do 0 - 60 in less than 5 seconds and run 160MPH plus. One was a blown V8 with over 500HP and driving it safely was the hardest thing I have ever had to learn. Point being - going fast is fun, but it's not for everyone and like all skills, takes practice no matter what the vehicle and public roads are not a good place for anything over 75MPH IMHO.

That said, I do not mean to be vain and I'm quite certain I'm not even in the league of any race car drivers or you would know my name from the press, but please - be careful and don't let my speed demon posts and irresponsible antics lead you to an accident. 99% of the time I drive like a sane and responsible driver. Somtimes I just have to go fast.

Have a nice day. Dave

The latest batch of 10 kits is nearing completion. Right now, it looks like I'll start shipping in the first week of February.

Whoever is on the list - you guys are gonna love these things. I was looking at pictures of ladder bar installations on Superdutys on the FTE site today and I'm thinking to myself - these guys are goofs, all they need are some Landyot radius rods and they wouldn't need five feet of horendous looking stuff sitting under the truck. Oh well - to everyone their own. Thanks again Ken. Your rad rods are the best! Get in line and get you some.

Like I said before, who needs to advertise when I've got Spartan? (Thanks, Dave!) I've got some good news, some real good news, and then I've got some bad news.

The good news is I'll be shipping some of these kits next week ... probably on 02/04/04. Those "on the list" who've sent deposits will receive individual e-mails from me within a couple days.

The real good news is I put a one-carat diamond on the finger of a woman I cannot live without. (I'll have to sell quite a few radius-rod kits to make up for that one rock!) Yes, after 14 years as a single man, LAND YOT is going to tie the knot again. Don't y'all worry none ... she's a Ford girl ... drives a 2000 Eddie Bauer Explorer. So does her sister ... Daddy drives an F150, and Momma drives a Taurus.

The bad news is I'll have to temporarily stop production in the near future ... will have to move all my stuff (tear down shop & set-up shop in her garage). Again, don't worry. If you're someone who's confirmed purchasing a kit from this 10-kit batch (actually, it's now an 11-kit batch), you'll get it. And a few of you who've paid deposits for the next batch will get yours, too. But I'm going to have to stop taking in anymore new orders. I will still send/accept info & deposits if you want to remain on the waiting list. My biggest problem is I don't know when all this will happen because we have not set a wedding date yet.

In the meantime, I'm certain this forum will hear the opinions about my radius-rods from most of the latest purchasers. Y'all be sure speak up after you've had some seat-time with my radius-rods ... good, bad, or indifferent ... just speak truthfully.

Not only does she have a garage, it's bigger, nicer and WARMER than the one I'm in now.

I sent e-mails to some folks today to let them know I'll be ready to ship their radius-rod kits this next week. I usually spend Superbowl Sunday at a ski resort. This year, I'll be spending that day painting all these parts!

Whooo-eee! Have I got a paint buzz! No scotch for me tonight! Probably will have a headache tomorrow, too! One more coat on some parts left on the table, and I can call it a day (night). I'll start boxing these up tomorrow, which is no quick thing in and of itself.

You wanker - I had a feeling something was up since I hadn't heard from you in a bit. Congratulations and please send us an invitation to the wedding if you plan to have one.

Did you get my e-mail and did the pics come through OK. If not let me know and I'll send others. I'm officially a digital camera junkie now. This is so easy compared to film it's not even funny. I want a Nikon D100 to use all my SLR lenses really bad now.

Also - I've managed to make an idiot of myself trying to give some college professor from California advice about his 4.5" Edge installation on the FTE board. Check it out. It's just pathetic - me included.

Fools. Lifts and fools. They can't help themselves.
