OK I just recieved a set of "X" code springs from a freind and am thinking of replacing the rears at the same time. Has any tried this yet? I currently have "V" codes and a add a leaf in the rear. My new set up will be "X" codes and EDGE's 2 in mini spring pack in the front and the f350's rear springs and the 4 in block. I will keep the add a leaf close in case i need it to level out the truck. I will also order a EDGE track bar. I figure to run f350 stock bilsteins up front and 4 in lifted "X" shocks for the rear. I figure to get almost 5 inches over a stock "X". According to the spring chart from Bruce I will get 2.90 inches from the "X" codes and of course 2 inches from the mini spring pack.
My questions are; Has any one replaced the rear with f350 springs and how was the ride. How is the ride with the "X" codes up front? Once i'm done i will try to fit on 315/75/16(MTR's or Terra grapplers) on 16x8 eagle alloy 101's. I have a freind who has a set on his f250 so i'll try them before sinking the money.

Thanks

I am planning on X code springs all around on my Excursion in the next week or so. I want to put a plow on it. Just starting research. How did the V swap go for you? Any thoughts on V and X verses just spliting the leafs and adding an additional one? I did that on the rear of a 2wd F-350 we have, actually added 2 leafs, and it has been great.
