| Quote: | RS-TX, How do you like the Cooper tires and how many miles so far ? Specifically, what about trackability on the road and handling in general ?
Thanks again,
Dave |
Dave, I have been pleased with the tires. I've put 15000 miles on and they are in great shape. They track and handle up to my expectations. For an AT tire, they are quiet. However, next time I buy I will go back to stock size and get highway (HT) treads just for comparison. I rarely go off road.

Dave, I run on Dunlop Rover ATs and I am very happy with them. I do almost no off-road type driving, but do pull a 6-7K pound horse trailer and sometimes on dirt roads and drive in deep snow. I wanted a tire with better traction than the SteelTex tires, give good to excellent wet road performance, and not be too noisey on the highway. The Dunlops do all of that.

I have my 00 7.3 in the shop as we speak for the steering (again). I have had an alignment and the box tightend twice.
I have had great wear out of the BFGs A/T ko. 50K= on the first set with approx 10K left on them before replacing with another set.
I know for shocks the Monroe Gasmatics give trucks a nice ride. I'll be replacing the Xs with them. I have them on my 69 F-250 C/S. Nice ride.
