Electrical problem

even after you turn it off and the key is out of the ignition the instrament dummy lights stay on and the blower motor keeps running the key fobs wont work nad security light flashes quick.problem comes and goes or if you keep turning the key back and forth you can get it to start
but this problem has run the battery down a couple times. anybody had this problem or any ideas.

If it is under warranty, take it to the dealer and get it checked out. Otherwise, pick a mechanic somewhere and get it checked out. This is one of the problems that I really fear. Electrical gremlins can be almost impossible to track down. Good luck.

I think i fixed the problem after talking to som mechanics at work they said the most probable cause would be the ignition switch. I bought a switch $20.00 part and put it in it took about 20 min
started it up about 10 times and the is no trace of the problem

Yo! Eric, with all of your infinite wisdom and innovations for this site, how about some sort of repair databse which problem such as this can be easily sought and found?
