Is there a fix for the locks (driver and passenger side front) of the 01 Excursion? There is a slot just below the key hole that a screwdriver can be pushed into to pop the lock.
A fix for the gap between the metal plates below the lock is what I would like to know about. A phillips-head screwdriver can easily be inserted in the gap which will open the lock. After having realized how easy it is for someone to gain access to the vehicle that quickly, I am about ready to have a body shop weld that seam together and paint it to match. It has been done to my EX more than once, and I am very frustrated about it.
