Ok guys, I admit that I'm a wimp.
I bought a 2wd with the V-8, and, although I'm happy with the truck, I'm getting tired of dragging the trailer hitch everytime I throw a load in the back of the truck. I also like the more aggressive looks of the 4wd.
It seems that I could raise the rear of the Excursion by switching to the 4wd leaf springs (any thoughts?), but is there any easy way to raise the front to match?
All I'm looking for is 3-4". Just enough to keep my butt from dragging.
Thanks for your feedback.

You could swap springs out of a 2WD diesel CC truck. They are the highest rated coil springs. I don't know how much lift it'll give you. Swap the rears with a 4x4 X or a the same donor CC truck.

You can also dial up Rancho and get a 2WD lift kit.

Ken,
Thanks for the advice. I checked Rancho, but they only list a kit for the 4x4 Excursion.
I'm hoping that there's someone out there who's done a small lift on a 2wd and can point me in the right direction.
Otherwise, it looks like Fabtech's 4" kit.
