While I'm at it, I have another dumb question - if I ever have to jumpstart the X or use a battery booster, does it matter which battery I hook it up to?

Thx.

Really does not matter, but for safety, you should charge one at a time.

Drivers side is primary but, both batteries are used in parallel.

A fellow PSD owner told me that you didn't want to have the charger on high amps when waiting for the glow plug light to turn off. He said it could do damage to the glow plugs. Could this be true?
