Hello, I am new to this and hoping some one can help me with a little info. I have the 1705 programmer and it will not progam to my 2001 psd excursion. I have called super chips and they dont know why either it flashes a error type 8. I have also tried the diablo progamer and it did the same thing. I have had ford even install a new computer and that did not work either. Thank you for any sugestions and help.

Chad,

Call Banks or TTS for help. They should be able to make a chip that fits to your truck ECM code.

Look for a white sticker with 4 digits on the drivers door just above the door hinges. This code is the engine code for your truck. They will need this to code the performance chip.
