Guru's,
I am new to the website and thought I would ask a question. I used to have a 2000 expedition with a 5.4 and I used a 1715 super tuner on it. I detuned the truck and sold it and now have an 03 limited Ex with a V10. Super chip told me to upgrade the tuner to except the 03 models for $200 bucks. Is an 02 Excursion any different than an 03 other than year? Is superchip just trying to get more money out of me.
I cfrossed my fingers and used the programmer on my 03 Ex and it runs great. I notice a little better throttle response and higher shift points. Should I be concerned about any damage.
Sorry alot of questions for a new guy. Ps. great website.

First of all, Welcome aboard  .
Second, I can`t answer for sure( somebody here will know) but i got my 1715 3 weeks ago for my 2000 and the tag reads for 96-03. It sounds like SC wants to make more money.

Thanks for the welcome and the reply. I have been running the truck all day today and it's doing great. I don't think ford changed a whole lot from 02 to 03 as far as computer settings.

Hey I saw one of those in my Car & Driver magazine. It really works huh? What does it do with your fuel economy? Also, wanna meet me somewhere and you can do it to mine? I don't have the $400 right now to buy one!!
