Recently had my sway bar installed and after about a week everytime I take a left turn I hear a THUD noise from the rear end. I checked the install and everything seems to be OK. When I shake the rear end enough I also hear the same THUD noise but I can't seem to locate the exact loaction of the THUD noise.
If anyone can help me with this problem I would appreciate it!!!! |

Even though it doesn't look loose, I'd torque all the bolts to proper specs again...
if one is not properly torqued it may let loose after a hard twist...
the front drivers side stock bar has been known to thump under the drivers feet, could that be it?
good luck finding it...
What you might want to do if you can't locate it...
eliminate a variable by disconnecting the sway bar for a bit...
(you could leave it mounted but just not connected...)
but BE SURE to support it with wire, etc so it doesn't drop down and stand your truck on end !

What are you shaking?
Sounds like your gonna need an assistant. Try have the "assistant" uh...shake the truck... while you're under it listening for the source of the sound.
Is your truck the stock height?
How are your links aligned?
How did the links fit up with the frame holes?
