I am sure this question has been asked, but the darn search engine does not work. What is the largest size I can fit on my 4x2 2001 Ex with a 5.4 without having to bend bumpers and trim trim.? I am currently looking at 265/75r16. Any options. Also for you tire guys, I have been looking at Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo. Any news? Any other popular brands to check out? Thanks for any information.

They'll fit (aren't they what came stock though??) and the Dueler AT Revos are great tires!
What gears do you have? If 3.73, I would think twice about upping tire size. The 5.4L works hard enough as it is.

Tom,
265/75/16 is the stock size. 285/75/16 will fit 4x4, and I would assume 4x2 as well. I have 285s, and they only rub the plastic mud guard when compressing the suspension and turning, and even then not enough to bother me. Having said that, my next tires will probably be 265s, just because I want highway tread instead of AT. I like my Coopers. Check them out at www.coopertires.com
Good luck.

285/75/16 fits fine on my 2000 X with 5.4.
It rides and turns perfetly. It seems a bit bumpier on the ride (more like my F350), but I really don't think I lost any pickup.
