I just bought this yesterday with a V10 engine and I am wondering if anyone knows what makes this a limited edition? Also anyone know if there are any common problems I should look for?? |

Hi, Julie, and welcome to the site.
I would recommend you post this in the "Excursion Discussion" forum, which is just below this one. This is more for information or questions about the actual website than for vehicle discussion.
I would guess that your Excursion is not a Limited EDITION, but rather just a Limited. If I recall correctly, the Excursion was offered in two trim levels, XLT and Limited, with different options within each level. The limited comes standard with leather and a few other nice options that the XLT does not have.
I wouldn't say there are any true problems to look for. Brakes seem to wear pretty fast on these vehicles due to the weight of the X, so you might want to get them checked out. Some Excursions have various squeaks and creaks that are annoying, but usually not dangerous. Depending on the mileage and maintenance done on your X you might want to have the fluids changed, especially the transmission fluid. Make sure the tires are in good shape and that is about it. You will surely have other questions as you drive more. Just post them here and join the conversations.
