I've recently received an 03 Excursion. A real beauty. My problem is that we Canadians were brought up with the metris system, and I would like to change the 'read-outs' on the auto climate control to the metric (Celcius) equivilant. They've got the overhead milage/consumption read-out easily interchangeable, but I can't find anything in the manual to help me here. Any thoughts? |

press auto and the last button in the same row {defrost and little guy sitting down} at the same time hold for 1 second to switch between fahrenheit and celsius.

I had this problem when I purchased my 2004 Excursion. I went to the dealership and one salesperson came out and fumbled with the buttons for a few minutes, then a second salesperson came out and on his first attempt, switched it, using the method described here. I was much happier. (Though to be honest, the main reason I wanted it switched was for exterior temperature. Inside, I know 'I want it warmer' or 'I want it colder' but to know what temperature it is outside, you can't guess.)
Nice to see another Alberta owner. |
