I have a amsoil bypass kit for my 02 but have not installed because the spin-on filter adapter comes very close to the front drive shaft with the hoses installed. Does anyone have any pics of their installs so i can get some alternate ideas?
Great forum here by the way. |

You may want to try http://www.bobistheoilguy.com under the Bypass Filter forum. Lots of folks there have done similar setups...I just don't know if it was on a V-10 or PSD. You could also try asking MSPARKS on that website. He's an Amsoil dealer and has answered many questions I had when setting up my bypass system...even though it wasn't an Amsoil product.
Good luck!

Hello Livingston NJ this is from Bridgewater... Nice to see local folk here.
Yes I have the bypass installed and yes it runs close to the fron drive shaft but I used a couple of place ties to hold the lines up twoards the bell housing of the tranny.
By the way, 8000 miles and still can see through the dip stick! I hope your planning on using their synthetic oil?
