I finally got around to replacing the running board blubs that were blown. There was only one working when I replaced them and there's still only one working. It seems that water got into there and damaged the sockets. Do they sell replacement sockets anywhere? Has anybody every done this? How difficult is it to do? |

You can buy the replacement sockets at your Ford dealer for around $10. I just replaced one of mine; it is very easy to do. The light bulb I put in my new socket is more dim than the factory bulbs so I am trying to locate the correct bulb to put in hte new socket.

Thanks for the info. I'll give my local ford dealer a call. For some reason I was afraid that they'd be like $50 each or something. Is it just a clip for the wire or do I have to strip them? |

The gray part of the socket pulls out of the black part and snap the new gray part in and thats all. It was really easy to do.
