was wondering if i installed front and rear air bags 1) would i be able to lower the stock ride height (1-2 inches)without sacraficing ride qaulity 2) if not lower at least stay the same and acheive a softer ride?

The air-bags are used WITH the OEM leaf springs, so your ride will not be lowered, nor provide a softer ride. However, if you're talking about replacing the leaf springs, you've got a lot of homework to do. Some of the mile-high lifted rigs use air-bags. But look closer and you'll also see some huge arms that keep the axles positioned.

could you remove 1 of the leaf springs and let the bags take up more of the slack?

went to the kelderman site and your right it looks pretty good. as long as i can keep the stock ride height while driving and acheive what looks to be a very smooth ride this could be the set up i am looking for
