I have a PSD in my '00 Excursion with 96K on it. My oil pan gasket is leaking, the heater element is shot, and my fuel fiter housing is corroded and needs to be replaced. My dealership said they have to take the engine out to replace these parts. Is this true?? They said its still under the warranty, which is good but they said they'll have my truck for 4 to 5 days. Has this happened to anybody else?

Sounds like your dealership is slow right now and needs some extra money from Ford. I guess what does it matter other than the 4-5 days being X-less, you will only pay $100. I wouldn't think the motor would have to be pulled to do the three things you described.

Oil pan gasket, no
Fuel filter housing, doubt it
Heater Element, not sure were that even is!
