Damn...I thought you were referring to the other male enhancement.

Guess I'll just have to continue to live with it...

Monsta-

It is an enhancement of a different persuasion, maybe the "X box"? I can stroke it! can you?

Bryant,

In my experience add a leaf will not bring up the fronts very high due to the weight of the engine. You might get about 1.5" in the PSD. With the Vortec 5.4L no problem, 6.8 pushin’ it, 7.3 over the hill.

I'm going a hanger route on fronts where the stock hanger is replace and it actually lifts the truck about 3". The plus is I don't have to modify anything suspension wise.. I'm also putting in super duty 4" lift blocks in the rear. Stock X's are on 2" and this will give me a level ride while clearing my beefy 315's (35") tires.

Yeah...everyday...when I fold it in half. I was kinda hopin' to fold it in thirds.

Don, Vortec is a GM product.

I think the actual amount of height increase depends on what the add-a-leaf is rated at. That information wasn't provided.

I certainly agree on hthe spring hangers. Seems the cheapest and easiest way to do a mild lift.

Bryant, did you get the leveling kit installed? Any pics? Which kit did you buy? What size tires are you planning on running? I know, alot of questions but sounds like your doing what I've been planning.

ok..heres the deal.. Ive got no pics yet..just havent had time..

don, thanx for all the great info you have bestoyed upon me buddy! yea, Its been said that the powerstrokes dont hold their lift for very long.

ok, my next point..hey "ken", I dont know if you were trying to act smart or anything, and tell don that he doesnt know what he's talking about. But if you were..you need to step back, and take a look at what he has on his PSDX, and tell me he doesnt know what he's talking about. He has done a bunch of research on a lot of crap. So I would just be careful about what you say to him, I dont want you looking like a fool..BUT, If i am the fool here, somebody tell me, and I will apologize immedietly. (If I am wrong..I sincerely apologize ken...)

I went with the add-a-leaf in the rear. It gave me over 3", but when they fletten out, because thats a typical leaf thing, they will still be at 3". then went with a leveling kit in the front to bring up to par. Then I went bilstein shocks all the way around. (damn they are exspensive!) right now, as the truck sits with a fulltank of fuel, it sits a bit over 3.5". I had a local spring and leaf shop do my work... they are reputable here in town.

as far as tires, I got a good deal. Since firestone was doing the recall on the tires that i had on there, I was able to give those tires back, and get credit for them. BTW, My front right tires was seperating bad!!! Then I went 295x75rx16, in the nitto terra grapplers.the only thing is, I went "hunting" the other weekend, right after I got everything done, and they didnt work too well in snow. That kinda burst my bubble, but they are "ok" in mud, and awsome in regular dirt. (climbing hills and what now) then again I had the pressure down to 6.5 lbs...yea.

anyway, so thats my 2 cents..oh btw, when i had the nitto's on without the lift, if I drove off a steep driveway while turning the wheel, I got some rubbing going on..so needless to say, I couldnt do any articulation!

have fun!

My apologies Ken, it is a 5.4L Triton® V-8 SOHC SEFI! Sorry for the mistake.

Hey Bryant thanks for the vote of confidence. I don't really do much research I just like wasting time and money... HA!! Joking, every option I have has been carefully thought out and planned to perfection.

Speaking of saving money Brillstein... WOW you? I went with Edelbrock and they do the same for $40 less each!

5' exhaust? Save your pennies, go 4" and eliminate the muffler. Check this link on eBay.

I tried both and really didn't see much difference 5" or 4"other than a 50 degree drop on EGT’s. Unless you are going to tractor pulls go the 4" you'll also run into axle issues....
