Ok...so its about 9:30, and I;m driving down a main street, and a CUTE girl pulls up next to me in prelude. U know the type, the coffee can on the exhaust, worthless spoiler on the back, blah blah blah. Anyway, she kept creeping forward, and so since I was checking her out, I did the same. Until i realized that she thought that i was going to race her. She took off, and I actually got her on the punch, but at 60-70 she took me. it was hilarious to c an x racing this little ricer. I decided that the best way to beat her was too, rev up the powerstroke off the line. Did so at about 1300 rpm (i realize this is haorribly bad on the truck...but...once in a awhile). Man, I have never felt the x jam like it did that time. Long story short, I GOT HER NUMBER!!! YEA!!!!
btw...stock x's can take preludes!!! we are moving up in the world!!!

As someone said...
Rice is a psd staple 
Actually, you may have given her a head start with just building boost with 1200 rpms...
try 2300 and in 4x4 
and if you don't power brake it for 30 seconds or so.... you'll be ok...
just stand on the brake... boost it to about 1000... then a second or two b4 u go... stand on it such that u time the build and then release...
these things will SCOOT...
like around 2 seconds 60' with right conditions...
I did a 2.3 60' in my Ex without knowing what I was doing...

Hey hear ya,
The stock 6.0L X will lay rubber for all of the first gear without mods. The trick is not to mat the pedal, but brake stand until 2000rpm or so and release with about 2/3 pedal. It's very surprizing. The power seems to hide not at full throttle but 2/3 throttle. I can image what a programmer would do!
