It seems like my wifes Ex is idleing strange. Kind of up and down, up and down....It has 105K on the clock, it is a 2000 limited V-10. Any ideas where to start looking?????

I thought of the IAC, but when mine went bad it didn't have a variation in idle, it just died Of course, that could be considered a variation I suppose.

OK, money is about to come in to have the IAC fixed... but would this make it idle FAST....like 1500 RPM, and keep it there?? After truck is already warm?? Cruising around looking at houses it wanted to run, Then I was able to "Get on It" on the freeway, and then after it came back down to normal idle. |

No, when my IAC went bad my X did not want to idle at all, but rather tried to die if I didn't keep the rpms up. Sounds like you may have a different problem. Good luck with your X.
