Has anyone come up with a good solution for making the leather seats less slick? If someone is sitting in the back seats and I take a corner, the slide from side to side. I found out that simply conditioning the leather is not an option. I have considered taking it to an upholstery shop and having them install suede inserts but that could prove to be pricey.
Any other options/ideas?
TIA

SLOW DOWN on corners Kevin
I think I did see you power sliding around Cooper and 287 didn't I ?
and there's these things called seat belts we sometimes use hare in Texus
J/K of course...
let's see, a sway bar would make the problem worse because you'd be going faster !

haha... if you saw my X flying around a corner then it was probably my wife! She's the main driver of the X now. I recently joined the consanguinity of rice drivers and bought a Honda Accord coupe to replace our Jeep Cherokee.
The seatbelt thang would certainly be a cheap option but it's hard to remember to tell folks to wear it in the back.

Maybe some cheapo seat covers that slip on.

I can let my kids come over for about a week. They love spillin' stuff on the leather to make it sticky...
I do not have a real solution for you... sorry.

So you are finally going to rejoin our secret society? Looks like you bought another X.

I'm working the deal as we "speak".
Got a buddy on Kauai that has it on his lot. I'm gonna trade my 03 Expy for it.
